Who can take part

  • You are between 35 and 65 years old
  • You have type 2 diabetes and your blood sugar is well controlled
  • You have less than 8 correct on a foot sensitivity test (Semmes-Weinstein monofilament) and a neuropathy score of 3 or more
  • You do not have other nerve, joint, or breathing problems that could affect your walking
  • You do not use a walking aid and your body mass index (BMI) is 30 or less
  • You are able to read and understand instructions and can attend at least 3 exercise sessions in a row
