Who can take part

  • You are a woman between 18 and 40 years old.
  • You weigh at least 110 pounds.
  • You have been lifting weights at least 3 times a week for the past 6 months (including at least one leg workout per week).
  • You have regular periods and are not using any hormonal birth control or an IUD for the past 3 months.
  • You are not pregnant, not planning to become pregnant, and willing to avoid exercise, alcohol, and caffeine before lab visits.
