  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have type 1 or type 2 diabetes
  • You had severe diabetic macular edema (central retina thickness of 400 microns or more) at the start
  • You started anti-VEGF injections within the last year and now your central retina thickness is below 400 microns but swelling remains
  • You have not had anti-VEGF injections before this episode of severe swelling
