New drug combo to shrink bile duct cancer before surgery

Who can take part

  • You must have a type of bile duct or gallbladder cancer that has not been treated before and a surgeon thinks it may be removable.
  • You should be between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You must be in good enough health to be up and about (able to do light work or more).
  • No prior chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or other cancer treatments for this condition.
  • You cannot have other serious medical conditions like uncontrolled infections, heart problems, or bleeding disorders.
  • If you are sexually active, you must agree to use effective birth control during the study and for 6 months after.
