Who can take part

  • You must be between 20 and 40 years old.
  • You need to have a specific gene variant (CACNA1C rs7304986 T/C) – we will test for it.
  • You must be right-handed.
  • You can drink fewer than 5 alcoholic drinks and fewer than 3 caffeine drinks per week.
  • You must not smoke or use illegal drugs, or have certain medical or sleep conditions.
