Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old
  • You have shoulder pain after a mastectomy
  • Your BMI is between 20 and 40 (a measure of body size)
  • You are taking the maximum daily dose of tramadol (450 mg) and still have pain
  • You are in ASA physical status class II or III (meaning you have mild to severe health issues that are under control)
  • You are not pregnant and have no infections or heart problems
