How different electrical frequencies affect muscle strength and pain

Who can take part

  • You must have at least one hidden muscle knot (called a latent trigger point) in the infraspinatus muscle (shoulder blade area).
  • You need to be able to read and understand a consent form and agree to participate.
  • You cannot be taking any medicines that affect how your muscles work.
  • You cannot have had surgery on your shoulder or spine.
  • You cannot have conditions like whiplash, dislocations, or fractures, or any nerve problems (such as a pinched nerve).
  • You cannot have fibromyalgia or other widespread muscle/joint conditions.
