Who can take part

  • Had a stroke (confirmed by MRI or CT scan) between 6 and 24 months ago
  • Weakness only on one side of the body caused by the stroke
  • Able to follow instructions and cooperate with tests (must score 24 or higher on a mental exam, or 18 if unable to read/write)
  • Speak and understand Turkish
  • Your hand and arm have reached at least a moderate stage of recovery (stage 4 on a standard scale)
  • Age 18 or older, and willing to take part
