Who can take part

  • You are between 40 and 65 years old.
  • You have had a stroke and are in the subacute stage (weeks to a few months after the stroke).
  • Your arm or hand has some stiffness, rated as mild to moderate on a standard scale.
  • You have not had any arm or hand surgery in the past.
  • You do not have any broken bones in the arm or hand.
  • You have no serious problems with memory, thinking, or understanding.
