Who can take part
- You must be between 18 and 80 years old.
- You must have had hepatitis B for at least 6 months.
- You must have cirrhosis that has caused a complication for the first time, like fluid in the belly, bleeding from veins, confusion, or kidney problems.
- You must not have other liver diseases, cancer, or serious heart, lung, or kidney problems.
- You must not have had spleen surgery or a special shunt procedure in the liver.
