Turkish Parkinson's Dyskinesia Scale Reliability Study

This study is testing a Turkish version of a scale that measures dyskinesias (involuntary, jerky movements caused by Parkinson's medication). If you have Parkinson's, experience dyskinesias, and are at a mild to moderate stage, you may be able to help researchers see if the translated scale works well.

Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease (not another similar condition).
  • Your Parkinson's is at a mild to moderate stage (Hoehn and Yahr stage 1 to 3).
  • You have dyskinesia (uncontrolled, jerky movements from medication) that your doctor rates as at least mild.
  • You don't have other serious health problems that could affect your movement or thinking.
  • You are able to understand and answer questions (Mini Mental State score of 24 or higher).
