Who can take part

  • Must be between 21 and 80 years old
  • Must have significant loss of pleasure or interest (anhedonia) as measured by a standard questionnaire
  • Must have a diagnosis of major depressive disorder
  • Must not have certain other mental health conditions like bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or PTSD
  • Must not have had suicidal thoughts or attempts in the past year
