  • You must be between 18 and 59 years old.
  • You must have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes for at least 6 months.
  • You must not have poorly controlled high blood pressure.
  • You must not have serious heart or blood vessel problems in the last 6 months.
  • You must not have a history of severe drug or food allergies.
  • You must not have hepatitis B, hepatitis C, HIV, or syphilis.
