Who can take part

  • You are an adult (18 or older) with dermatomyositis, a type of inflammatory muscle disease.
  • You have a condition called calcinosis cutis — calcium deposits that form hard lumps under your skin.
  • You do not have another connective tissue disease or inclusion body myositis (IBM).
  • Your diagnosis of dermatomyositis was confirmed by standard medical criteria (EULAR/ACR 2017 rules).
