Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older.
  • You are of Afro-Caribbean origin.
  • You either have type 1 or type 2 diabetes (with or without a foot ulcer) OR you are a healthy volunteer without diabetes.
  • You are covered by social security and willing to sign a consent form.
  • You have not had leg surgery, a broken leg, or an amputation in the past.
  • You do not have a neurological disease, foot fungus, both feet ulcers, or be pregnant.
