This trial tests a program called PharmaTE to help people with type 2 diabetes better control their blood sugar, learn about diabetes, take their medications as prescribed, and improve their quality of life. It is for adults in the RAK area who speak Arabic and have a phone or internet access.

Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and your blood sugar is not well controlled (HbA1c above 7%) in the last year.
- You are between 18 and 65 years old.
- You are prescribed at least one diabetes medication.
- You have access to a phone or mobile phone and reliable internet.
- You are treated at an outpatient clinic in IBOH, RAK, and speak Arabic.
- You are not pregnant, do not have severe liver or kidney problems, type 1 diabetes, gestational diabetes, vision/hearing impairments, psychological problems, or a weakened immune system.
