Who can take part

  • You are between 20 and 85 years old (or 20–65 if you have a mild head injury)
  • You are willing to have an MRI and are free of any metal or devices that prevent it
  • You do not have any major neurological conditions (like epilepsy, stroke, Parkinson's, or brain tumors)
  • You are not allergic to common electrode materials used for stimulation
  • If you have a head injury, you are not on certain heart or blood pressure medications, and you have no other serious brain conditions
