Who can take part

  • You must be at least 25 years old.
  • You must be able to have an MRI (no metal implants, pacemaker, etc.).
  • You must have completed at least 8 years of formal schooling.
  • You must be fluent in English.
  • For people with memory problems: you have a diagnosis of a brain disease or traumatic brain injury that causes memory issues, and your memory test score is 16 or lower.
  • For healthy volunteers: you have no memory or brain condition and are the same age and sex as someone in the memory-problem group.
