Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 70 years old.
  • You must be able to read and speak English.
  • You must not be a regular smoker.
  • You must not have diabetes or take certain diabetes medications.
  • You must not have a history of gastrointestinal diseases or surgery.
  • For people with SCI: your injury must be at least 12 months old and be a complete (AIS A) or motor-incomplete (AIS B) injury in the neck (tetraplegia).
