Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 85 years old
  • You have a traumatic spinal cord injury in the neck-to-lower-back area (C3 to L2)
  • Your injury is classified as A, B, or C (motor complete or incomplete)
  • You are not pregnant before you sign up
  • You do not have other nervous system problems besides spinal cord injury
  • You have no history of Crohn’s disease or diverticulitis, and you do not have irritable bowel syndrome
