Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with ATTR amyloidosis (a condition where abnormal protein builds up in tissues) that affects your heart.
- You have a history of heart failure that has required at least one hospital stay or treatment with a diuretic (water pill).
- Your NT-proBNP level (a blood test that shows heart strain) must be above 300 (or above 600 if you have atrial fibrillation) and below 8500.
- You may already be taking a stabilizer medication like tafamidis or acoramidis, and heart failure medicines are okay.
- You cannot have very advanced heart failure (class IV) or class III heart failure along with stage 3 disease.
- You cannot have taken any treatment that directly lowers TTR protein before (like RNA therapies).
