Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have a confirmed genetic change (mutation) in the TTR gene that is known to cause disease.
  • Your age is within 10 years of the typical age when your family members first developed symptoms of ATTR amyloidosis (called PADO).
  • You do not have any signs or symptoms of ATTR amyloidosis (heart or nerve problems).
  • You are not currently taking or have recently stopped taking other TTR-modifying treatments (like tafamidis or patisiran).
  • You are able to have a cardiac MRI (no metal implants, no severe claustrophobia or kidney problems).
