  • You are having a heart attack that started less than 12 hours ago
  • You agree to take part in the study
  • Your heart failure symptoms are mild to moderate (Killip class I or II)
  • Your blood pressure is stable (top number over 90, or average pressure over 65)
  • You have a normal heart rhythm (sinus rhythm)
