Who can take part

  • You are 18–80 years old
  • You had a heart attack (STEMI) within the last 12 hours and received emergency stent placement (PCI)
  • You are able to return for follow-up visits as required
  • You have not had a previous heart attack
  • You do not have a pacemaker, defibrillator, or severe heart rhythm problems before this heart attack
  • You do not have a skin infection, lesion, or tumor on the left side of your neck
