Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 65 years old.
- You speak, read, and write English well enough to understand the study.
- You have been diagnosed with functional (non-epileptic) seizures by a specialist, confirmed with a 24-hour brain wave (EEG) test that showed no epilepsy.
- Your seizures have lasted more than 3 months and happen at least once a month.
- You are not currently in talk therapy for your seizures and agree to avoid it during the study.
- If you are a woman of childbearing age, you must have a negative pregnancy test before starting.
- You are not taking medications that increase seizure risk (like high-dose bupropion or certain antidepressants).
- You have no history of epilepsy, brain surgery, or major brain injury.
- You have no active severe mental health conditions (like psychosis, mania, or active substance abuse).
- You are not pregnant or trying to become pregnant without contraception.
