Who can take part

  • You have had type 2 diabetes for at least 3 months.
  • You take a daily injection of long-acting insulin (basal insulin), possibly with metformin or an SGLT2 inhibitor, for at least 3 months.
  • Your most recent A1C blood test is between 7.5% and 11.0%.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 22 or higher.
  • You have not had severe low blood sugar or a heart attack or stroke in the last 6 months.
