Who can take part
- You have stage Ia non-small cell lung cancer (tumor larger than 1 cm but not bigger than 3 cm, and no lymph node spread)
- Your tumor is not a ground-glass nodule (a hazy spot on scans)
- You do not have certain gene changes (EGFR, ALK, ROS1) that can be treated with targeted pills
- You cannot have or do not want surgery or radiation therapy
- You are in good enough health to be up and about (ECOG score 0 or 2)
- You have not had treatment with immune checkpoint inhibitors before
