Who can take part
- You are between the ages of 18 and 65.
- You have been diagnosed with metabolic fatty liver disease (related to your weight or metabolism).
- An ultrasound shows your liver is at least 3 cm larger than normal.
- Your blood ALT levels (a liver enzyme) are between 90 and 150 U/L.
- A FibroScan test shows your liver fat score is 260 dB/m or higher, and your liver stiffness (a measure of scarring) is 11 kPa or higher.
- You can attend all visits and sign a consent form.
