This study uses a special PET scan (called FAPI-74) to see if it can detect fibrosis (scarring) in the lungs of people with active TB. It looks at the scan both at the start of treatment and after 6 months of therapy to understand how the lungs heal.

Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older.
- Your TB must be confirmed by a culture test or a molecular test (like GeneXpert).
- You need imaging evidence (like chest x-ray, CT, or PET scan) showing TB in your lungs or possibly other areas.
- You must be either starting TB treatment within 6 weeks or have already completed 6 months of treatment and be within 6 weeks after that.
- You need to be willing to follow the study plan, give written consent, and have normal or acceptable lab results.
- If you are a woman of childbearing age, you must have a negative pregnancy test before the scan.
