Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older, any gender.
  • You have or are suspected of having a disease that causes fibrosis (scarring in organs like the lungs, liver, or kidneys).
  • You are medically stable enough to have a PET scan.
  • You can give informed consent (understand and sign a form) or have someone do it for you.
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a serious infection, drug/alcohol problem, or allergy history that would make the scan unsafe.
