Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have been diagnosed with a heart, lung, or blood vessel disease that risks causing tissue scarring
  • You have had a chest CT scan in the past
  • You can lie still on a scanner for up to 45 minutes without severe anxiety
  • If you can become pregnant, you agree to use effective birth control during the study and for 4 weeks after the scan
  • You weigh 350 pounds or less and can fit safely inside the imaging machine
