Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You are scheduled for a planned brain surgery to clip a cerebral aneurysm
- You either take low-dose aspirin daily (75-100 mg) or have not taken aspirin for at least 7 days before surgery
- You are not taking any other blood thinners or antiplatelet drugs within 7 days before surgery
- You do not have a bleeding disorder like hemophilia or low platelets
- You have not had a previous brain bleed not related to your aneurysm
