Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have a type of neuroendocrine tumor that is well-differentiated and has spread or is locally advanced.
- You have carcinoid syndrome that requires treatment, with at least one flushing episode per day on average over two weeks.
- If you are currently on a somatostatin receptor ligand, you are willing to stop it and your flushing gets worse during a washout period.
- Your tumor has not shown significant growth in the last 6 months.
- You do not have diarrhea from other causes, severe uncontrolled diarrhea, or certain other health conditions like poorly controlled diabetes or significant heart, liver, or kidney problems.
