New drug combo for first-line head and neck cancer

Recurrent/Metastatic Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Who can take part

  • You have a type of head and neck cancer that has spread or come back and can't be cured with local treatments like surgery or radiation.
  • You have not had any chemotherapy or targeted therapy for this current episode of cancer (or if you did, it finished more than 6 months ago).
  • Your tumor has certain proteins (PD-L1 and TROP2) that can be detected from a biopsy sample.
  • You are generally in good health, able to take care of yourself (ECOG 0 or 1), and your blood, liver, kidneys are working well.
  • You are willing to use birth control during and for 12 months after treatment if you could become pregnant or get someone pregnant.
  • You do not have active infections like hepatitis B or C, HIV, or an autoimmune disease that needs strong medication.
