Who can take part

  • You are between 13 and 50 years old with all your permanent teeth.
  • You have a TMJ disc displacement that your doctor confirmed with an MRI, and it does not go back into place on its own.
  • You have not had any other treatments for a TMJ disorder before this study.
  • You do not have other health problems like autoimmune diseases, mental health conditions, or a history of jaw injuries or tumors.
