Who can take part
- You are between 22 and 65 years old.
- You are scheduled for an elective (planned, not emergency) brain or spine surgery where the surgeon will need to patch a small tear (up to 6 cm²) in the protective layer around the brain or spinal cord.
- You have had a CT or MRI scan in the last 6 months.
- You do not have hydrocephalus (fluid buildup in the brain).
- You are able to have an MRI scan after surgery.
- You have not had brain or spine surgery in the same spot before.
