Who can take part
- You must have a diagnosis of MASLD (fatty liver disease) with at least 5% liver fat confirmed by a scan or biopsy.
- Your BMI should be between 18.5 and 39.9, and your weight must have been stable (within 3 kg) for the past 3 months.
- If you have diabetes, your blood sugar must be well-controlled (HbA1c below 7%).
- You cannot have allergies to soya, milk, chocolate, or pectin.
- You must not have taken antibiotics, probiotics, or prebiotics in the last 3 months, and you cannot be on a vegan diet.
- You must not have any gastrointestinal conditions like celiac, IBS, or IBD, and you must not drink more than 14 (women) or 21 (men) units of alcohol per week.
