Comparing tirzepatide and liraglutide for bone health in severe obesity
Part of Hormones & metabolism clinical trials.
This study compares two medicines, tirzepatide and liraglutide, to see how they affect bone health in people with severe obesity. If you have a high BMI and no major health problems, this trial could help doctors understand which treatment is better for your bones.

This trial examines how well tirzepatide works for weight loss in people with obesity, and how it's actually used in daily life. It may be an option if you haven't tried other obesity treatments and don't have diabetes.
This study tests whether tirzepatide, a medication for weight management, affects muscle health in women with obesity. It may help if you are looking for a treatment that preserves muscle while losing weight.
This study tests a medication called tirzepatide (a type of GLP-1 drug) to see how it affects muscle and bone health during weight loss. It is for people with obesity who are not menopausal and do not have diabetes or bone disease.
This trial compares two ways to manage weight: taking a GLP-1 medication (like tirzepatide or semaglutide) versus making lifestyle changes without medication. It will help researchers learn which approach works best for people with overweight or obesity.
This Phase 2 study tests two medicines to see how they change body fat, insulin sensitivity, and bone health in adults with obesity. It may help people who have tried lifestyle changes to lose weight but have not been able to, though diabetes and several health conditions must be ruled out first.
This trial tests a medicine called tirzepatide, given as an injection, to see if it can improve daily function and symptoms in people with a weak heart (heart failure with reduced ejection fraction) who also have obesity. Tirzepatide works on two natural hormones to help with weight and may also improve heart health.
