BCG vaccine boost for MAC lung disease

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have been diagnosed with MAC lung disease by a lung doctor and had a positive MAC culture in the last year
  • You are not currently taking antibiotics for MAC, and haven't taken any other antibiotics in the past 14 days
  • You do not have a weakened immune system (such as from HIV, cancer treatment, or high-dose steroids)
  • You have never received a BCG vaccine before
  • If you could become pregnant, you agree to use effective birth control during the study and for 3 months after
