Who can take part

  • You had a stroke (from a clot or bleeding in the brain) between 6 months and 5 years ago.
  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • Your affected arm has moderate movement difficulty (scored between 22 and 50 on a standard arm test).
  • You can move at least 1 block with your affected arm in a box-and-block test in 60 seconds.
  • You can sit comfortably for 40 minutes and follow simple instructions like 'fold this paper and hand it back'.
  • You have a caregiver available to help you during therapy sessions at home and at the clinic.
