Who can take part
- Had a stroke (affecting deeper brain areas) between 9 months and 10 years ago
- Have weakness or paralysis on one side of your body (arm and/or leg)
- Can stand for at least 30 seconds, with or without help
- Have completed standard stroke rehabilitation already
- Able to understand and speak French or English
- Willing to have minor surgery to implant the stimulation device
