Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 40 years old.
- Your BMI is between 25.0 and 49.9 (overweight or obese).
- You have a fatty liver (more than 5% fat) shown on an MRI scan.
- You do not have diabetes, an eating disorder, or a history of gastrointestinal problems in the last 2 months.
- You are not taking certain medications or supplements, except stable metformin for at least 3 months.
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, and agree to use contraception during the study.
