Who can take part
- You have type 1 diabetes, no matter how old you are or how long you've had it.
- A doctor must have told you that you have type 1 diabetes.
- You were diagnosed before age 15, or you were not overweight when diagnosed, or you had diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) at the start, or your C-peptide test was very low.
- After diagnosis, you started and continued using insulin (unless you had a pancreas or islet transplant), or you tested positive for islet cell antibodies.
