Who can take part
- You are 55 or older and have gone through menopause.
- You have early-stage, hormone receptor positive, HER2 negative breast cancer (or a very early form called DCIS with microinvasion).
- Your tumor is no larger than 3 cm and has not spread to the lymph nodes under your arm.
- You are planning to have breast-conserving surgery (lumpectomy) and radiation to the whole breast afterward.
- You have not had chemotherapy or other systemic treatment before surgery, and you have not had invasive breast cancer before.
