Skipping lymph node surgery and radiation for low-risk breast cancer
Part of Cancer, Skin clinical trials.
This trial tests whether some women with early-stage, low-risk breast cancer can safely skip lymph node surgery and, in some cases, radiation. It aims to reduce side effects while keeping cancer control the same.

This trial tests whether women with very low-risk, early-stage breast cancer can safely skip hormone therapy after surgery. It is designed for women who are 60 or older and whose cancer shows no spread to lymph nodes and has favorable biology.
This trial is testing whether radiation therapy to just the breast (not the lymph nodes) is safe and effective for women with early-stage, low-risk breast cancer. It aims to see if omitting the sentinel node biopsy is acceptable when the cancer has not spread to the lymph nodes.
This trial tests whether some women with low-risk breast cancer that has spread to a few lymph nodes can safely skip radiation therapy after surgery. It aims to reduce side effects while keeping the cancer from coming back.
This trial tests whether older women with early-stage, slow-growing breast cancer can safely skip removal of underarm lymph nodes during surgery. The goal is to reduce surgery-related side effects while maintaining safety.
This trial is testing a less invasive approach to checking and treating the lymph nodes under the arm in early-stage breast cancer. It may help you avoid unnecessary surgery and its side effects while still ensuring your cancer is properly treated.
This trial studies whether you can safely avoid a lymph node biopsy in the armpit for early breast cancer when scans and exams look negative. It may reduce surgery-related side effects while still keeping cancer care on track.
