Comparing two types of electrical stimulation for arm recovery after stroke

Who can take part

  • You have had your first ischemic stroke (a clot-caused stroke) and it was between 7 days and 6 months ago
  • Your arm weakness is moderate—you can still move your arm a bit but not fully
  • You were able to take care of yourself and do household tasks before the stroke
  • You are 18 to 99 years old
  • You do not have any implanted devices like a pacemaker or defibrillator
