Who can take part

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Will be treated for a blood clot in a leg vein with the Cleaner Vac system as your first treatment
  • Have a blood clot in the thigh, groin, pelvis, or major belly vein, confirmed by imaging within the last 2 weeks
  • Symptoms of the blood clot started within the last 6 weeks before joining the study
  • Not currently pregnant and have no serious bleeding risks or other conditions that would make the procedure unsafe
