  • You are 18 or older
  • You have symptoms of bile duct blockage (like jaundice, dark urine, or abnormal liver tests)
  • You are scheduled for an MRI of your bile ducts (MRCP)
  • You have already had a standard ultrasound or CT scan
  • You are able to have an MRI (no pacemaker or metal implants)
  • You have not had major bile duct surgery or a stent placed before
