Who can take part
- You have a stiff knee gait caused by a stroke (at least 4 months ago), a traumatic brain injury, or multiple sclerosis.
- Your rectus femoris (thigh muscle) has spasticity (tightness) of at least 1 on a standard scale, tested with your hip straight.
- Your quadriceps (thigh muscle) strength is at least 2 out of 5 (able to move against gravity).
- You have not had any botulinum toxin (Botox) injections in the past 3 months.
- You have not had a recent knee injury or instability in the last 6 weeks, and no major health problems that would prevent you from doing the study's physical tests.
