This study looks at how frontotemporal dementia affects your sense of taste by measuring the brain's response to different tastes. Participants will undergo a taste test while their brain activity is recorded.

Who can take part
- You must have a diagnosis of frontotemporal lobar degeneration (a specific type of dementia that affects behavior, personality, or language).
- You must be willing to stop eating or drinking for at least 2 hours before a taste test.
- Your body mass index (BMI) must be less than 30 (meaning you are not severely overweight).
- You cannot smoke more than 4 cigarettes a day on a regular basis.
- You cannot have diabetes (type 1 or type 2) or have a pacemaker.
